Tractor Family Photos | Parker Extended Family Session | Rexburg Extended Family Photos

I can’t tell you how excited I was for this family session. It was so fun spending time with this family, capturing these very precious moments, and including the tractor is these family photos.

This family session was so special for so many amazing reason. First, it was my first ever family session I was able to do! Second, I was able to shoot this session with my mom (which to me is so special to me because she helped me find my love for photography). And Third, this family was having these photos done because this would be the last one they could all be there together for.

When they came to us with the news that Grandpa did not have too much longer, they knew they wanted a family session to have one last one before he passed on. Another really important part of this session was including the tractor in the family photos. Grandpa had been a farmer for many years. The tractor he had for years and years, and could almost be considered part of the family.

This session we did at grandma & grandpa’s house in Teton Idaho. They have such the perfect yard for photos. It included the most beautiful flower beds, a big grassy area, fun trees for the kids to climb, and an open field that bordered their yard, that if you look across the field you can see the Teton Mountains.

PART ONE

The first part of the Parker family photos we actually did not use the tractor. We went to the area in their yard with all the flowers. It allowed for us to get some beautiful variety in their family photos. There are also some fun candids of the kiddos in other spots in the yard as well in this section!

PART TWO

The second part of the Parker’s family photos are in front of the tractor. I can’t tell you how much I loved this tractor. It was so perfect for this family and lets be honest, it is literally the cutest vintage tractor!!
