Hey Sister or Elder! I am honestly so glad you are here and considering me as your mission photographer. Missionary sessions are some of my favorites to do as I love capturing these photos for you before you set out on your mission! I love meeting you and show casing, well, YOU! I love to implement things about your mission, like scriptures, mission tags(if you have them), and even state or country flags. This is such an exciting time in your life as you start this new adventure in your life. Also, WOW! Congrats on your mission call! This is such an exciting time in your life, being called of God to do His work. Documenting this big event in your life is a must!
I'm just so excited to get to know you and to capture these photos for you before you leave on your mission!!

"My photoshoot with MCZPhotography was very fun! But still very Professional!"
Your mission session is, and should be, all about you and this new adventure you are about to go on and I try to make sure it stays that way!
I love to take into consideration what your ideas and visions for your shoot are as well. Do you have a special location in mind? Do you have a cute outfit or two you want to wear? Well let's do it!
Do you really want to go to a certain temple and another special place, lets go there.
I'm serious when I say let's make your session totally you, super fun, and something you are going to look forward to doing. The sky is the limit and nothing is out of the question when it comes to what you want to do for your session.
I'm excited to hear your ideas and what you want to do for your session.
I love doing missionary sessions because you each have such a special spirit and drive about you that I just love being around. And I love to document this time of your life before you leave. This is why I have dedicated so much of my time in learning how to be the best
photographer to best serve you!
I have taken several classes on how to improve my photo skills. I continue everyday to find new ways to better serve you and to help you have a better experience when booking a photo session with me.
Since the day I first picked up a camera I started learning (and that was almost 10 years ago) how to photograph well and how to serve people, and I will always continue to do so. I have taken on many photoshoots and each one helps me to gain experience and learn better how to serve you as well! I have studied lighting, poses, and composition for years to ensure you will be happy with your photos.
When you are preparing to leave on your mission it can seem like the list is never-ending when it comes to the things you need to do. Sometimes it can feel very overwhelming as you have never done this before and have no idea where to start.
I make sure to guide you through the whole photo session process. I have guides & questionnaires that I will provide you with, when you book with me, that will help prepare you for your photo shoot.
I can help you come up with ideas if you have none. I can help find the perfect location when you have no idea where to go.
Seriously, if you have a question regarding your session, just ask away! I'm here to help and serve YOU! I want to make taking your mission photos as easy and stress free as possible.
My ultimate goal as your photographer is to make you happy! I have always loved to serve those around me. I really truly care about you and am so grateful for every single person I have or will have the opportunity to photograph.
I am happy to assist you in any way that I can, because your photos really are all about you!!
I just think back to when I left on my mission. And I was wondering if adding a photoshoot to my list of things to do before leaving was worth it. I eventually decided yes. And I'm so grateful that I did pull out my camera and got those photos, as I was one of the many missionaries sent home from the Pandemic. So as soon as I was sent home I cherished my Pre-Mission photos even more, that I would always have those to hold on to.
And that concept is what I think of when I'm taking your photos, how much these photos will mean to you now, and in the future.
When it comes to your photos I love to include your personality and to get all kinds of fun images. I make sure to get that perfectly posed headshot that mom & grandma will Love, but I also will get the fun & laughter shots as well.
I have several poses and prompts that I use to create your images that will result in both the perfectly posed images and the more candid type images.
I am also not afraid to do what it takes to get the right angle or lighting for the shot. I can often be found laying on the ground, squatting, and have even climbed a tree to get the photo just right. Nothing is too crazy when it comes to taking your photos.
