I'm McCaslin, your moment capturing, memory chasing, photographer.

I am here for you and your memories. I understand how important photos are. They take you back to moments in time to help you remember them forever. And I can't wait to get to know you and capture your most precious memories.

I first picked up a camera when I was in 8th grade. I immediately fell in love with photography. Once I got in high school I joined the yearbook staff and took photos of all my school's events. I loved hearing people tell me how much they loved my photos. That got my wheels turning and sparked my interest in wanting to photograph sessions. I had a few family friends reach out to me wanting me to take photos for them and they loved their photos!

I quickly realized that I loved taking photos and making people happy with those photos I took. That grew my love and passion for photography today. My ultimate goal as your photographer is for you to love your images and to take you back to the moment.

My Why

I know what makes a memory so special, that's why I'm so committed to capturing yours!

Every year during my childhood my mom insisted that we get family photos done. And as a kid I never really complained about it but when you are super young its never the first thing you want to be doing.

Now that I'm older and a mom myself I understand how important getting family photos really are.

Also when I was 19 my mom was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and passed away just three months after her diagnosis. After she passed is when I learned the true value of a photo. Because now, all I have left is photos of her.

I learned that photos have this magic that can take you back to a moment after it is long gone. That is why I am so dedicated to capturing your memoires, is so you have them forever to look back on.

First and foremost I want to say, I know how exciting getting your photos taken can be, but even more exciting is getting the photos back. That is why I am committed to getting your images back as fast as I can. That is why you are guaranteed 3-5 images within 48 hours of your session and then the rest of your gallery within 6 weeks of your photo session.

Next I just want to say when it comes to editing your photos I don't skip a single detail. I have always been a very detailed oriented person, so when it comes to your photos I look at all the details. If I see a pesky fly away hair or two, or annoying items in the background I will take the extra time to edit them out. I am committed to making your images perfect so you will have them and love them for years to come.

During the time leading up to your session you can be sure that I won't leave you left in the dark. I have several guides that I send out to help you prepare for it. I will send you a location guide, outfit guide, session guide, and a questionnaire. This is all to ensure that you feel as ready and prepared for your session as possible.

And lastly, I am not afraid to do what it takes to get the perfect shot. I mean, there is one of the photos to the left, I'm literally in a tree taking a photo to get the perfect shot. I am always down to go on the 3 mile hike to get to the epic location or include anything that will make your photos more special and memorable. The photos are about you and your life moments. I'm seriously down for anything to make your photos special and memorable!

I also want to say that I try my hardest to make sure I won't lose any of your images. I have invested in my equipment so I am better protected against losing images. I have two camera bodies, (just incase one decides to stop working at a photoshoot), dual memory card slots on my main camera, and plenty of storage space to store your images after the shoot.

And lastly, I am not afraid to do what it takes to get the perfect shot. I mean just look at the above photo, I'm literally in a tree taking a photo to get the perfect shot. I am always down to go on the 5 mile hike to get to the epic location or go to a location that means so much to you. The photos are about you and your life moments. I'm seriously down for anything to make your photos special and memorable!

A Few of my Favorite Things

Doing jigsaw puzzles is chaos that I can control that I love.
Country Music is the best there is & I'm self declared as Morgan Wallen and Garth Brook's biggest fans!
I love to do just about anything outdoors including off roading, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting guns at the range, and swimming in Bear Lake.
I always have to point out cows to my husband while we are driving.
I dare you to find someone who loves ice cream more then me.
Bring me food from Costa Vida and we will be best buddies!
I believe Sunday evening walks are underrated.
Monster Pipeline Punch Energy Drinks are my guilty pleasure.
I have strong faith and my religion is a big part of who I am.
Some of my favorite TV shows are Last Man Standing, Reba, Duck Dynasty, Yellowstone, and Supernatural.
My top three favorite movies are Titanic, Twisters, and Forever My Girl.
You can almost always find me curled up with a blanket, no matter what time of year or the temperature.
