I'm McCaslin, your moment capturing, memory chasing, photographer.
You don’t take family photos just for today. You take them for the years ahead. For when your babies are no longer babies, your loved ones have passed on, and the everyday moments have become cherished memories. My job is to make the process easy, fun, and natural. I want you to walk away with more than just photos! I want you to have an experience that is just as beautiful and timeless as the final images.

Photography has been my passion since eighth grade, and for more than ten years, I have been creating stunning portraits for families, new mothers, and high-school seniors. Whether you are a local here in Bear Lake or visiting on vacation, I am here to capture your moments that matter most.
I know how exciting it is to have your photos taken and to receive your final images, which is why I send 3-5 sneak peeks within 48 hours of your session and deliver your full gallery within 6 weeks.
I pay close attention to every detail to make sure your photos look their best. If a stray hair or random person happens to appear in the background and takes away from the perfect shot, I take the time to edit it out. My goal is to provide polished, timeless images that you will treasure forever.
Planning your session should be stress-free, and you should never feel left in the dark before a shoot! That’s why I provide outfit, location, and session guides, along with a questionnaire to ensure everything is personalized and perfect to you.
I am always up for an adventure. Whether we are stopping at a scenic lookout in Bear Lake, climbing a tree for the perfect shot in a forest here in Southeast Idaho, or exploring the mountain trails of Grand Teton National Park, I will do whatever it takes to create breathtaking photos that reflect your unique story.
First and foremost I want to say, I know how exciting getting your photos taken can be, but even more exciting is getting the photos back. That is why I am committed to getting your images back as fast as I can. I try my darndest to get them done within 3 weeks of your photoshoot.
Next I just want to say when it comes to editing your photos I don't skip a single detail. I have always been a very detailed oriented person, so when it comes to your photos I look at all the details. If I see a pesky fly away hair or two, or annoying items in the background I will take the extra time to edit them out. I am committed to making your images perfect so you will have them and love them for years to come.
I also want to say that I try my hardest to make sure I won't lose any of your images. I have invested in my equipment so I am better protected against losing images. I have two camera bodies, (just incase one decides to stop working at a photoshoot), dual memory card slots on my main camera, and plenty of storage space to store your images after the shoot.
And lastly, I am not afraid to do what it takes to get the perfect shot. I mean just look at the above photo, I'm literally in a tree taking a photo to get the perfect shot. I am always down to go on the 5 mile hike to get to the epic location or go to a location that means so much to you. The photos are about you and your life moments. I'm seriously down for anything to make your photos special and memorable!
