So you are about leave to serve an LDS Mission. Then taking some time to get your mission photos done is a must! Rachel had her mission photos taken in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
In my opinion, you must get your pre mission photos done because it documents this special time in your life. This is the only time in your life you will be leaving on a mission in your youth. Once in a lifetime events like going on a mission, makes for a perfect reason to get your photos taken. It is also a fun way to have some fun photos to post leading up to your mission. You can also include some fun props that highlight where you are going to make your photos even more special.
Rachel was called the the Germany Alpine Mission speaking German. She left for her mission in late fall, so we were able to have beautiful early fall weather for her session. We did her photos at sunrise and WOW I loved doing a sunrise session! Rachel was also a dancer all growing up, so there were a few poses that we included to bring that out. She included a large Germany flag, a German Book of Mormon, and small flags of each country her mission covers. For her mission photos we went to the Idaho Falls Temple and the Rock Garden on the Green Belt in Idaho Falls.
PART ONE
To start off her session we went to the Idaho Falls Temple. With it being at sunrise there were very few people around and it just felt extra peaceful on the temple grounds in the morning.
PART TWO
After the temple we headed over to the Rock Gardens for the second location of her session. Here we were able to include the river and some other beautiful nature things in her session.
