There are few places on earth as breathtaking as Grand Teton National Park. The beautiful towering peaks of the Teton mountains, the stunning crystal-clear lakes, and gorgeous golden sunsets make it an absolute dream location for a photoshoot. As a photographer in Grand Teton National Park, I’m always in awe of the beauty this place offers! This session was seriously no exception!
This couple, Erin & Shawn, was visiting Grand Teton National Park for their honeymoon. (And seriously the Tetons is the perfect place for your honeymoon, but I may be a tad bit biased!) They wanted a photo session that truly captured the beauty of the park and their honeymoon faze love for each other. We explored two stunning locations—Jenny Lake and Mormon Row/T.A. Moulton Barn—and every moment was filled with adventure, laughter, and pure love.

Jenny Lake – Perfect Lakefront
We started our session at Jenny Lake, a spot that never fails to impress. With the beautiful mountains reflecting off the water and bright blue skies overhead, the scenery was absolutely picture-perfect. The spot we were at felt so intimate and secluded from the rest of the world. It was truly the perfect spot to showcase Erin & Shawn’s Love.
Erin wore a simple yet stunning white patterned dress paired with white sneakers, which gave her the perfect mix of elegance and adventure. We walked along the shores of Jenny Lake, admired the beautiful view, and even got in the water a little bit. Their playful energy and deep connection made every candid shot feel just like I was a little fly on the wall.

The Walk – More Stunning Mountain Views
Before we even go to Jenny Lake we had a little bit of a walk to get there. It was so worth it though for that stunning view! But as we walked we made great use of the time. We found a couple spots along the way that were just as beautiful and got some truly stunning shots there as well. There was so much green from the trees and other plants. And again, you just can’t beet those mountain views!!

T.A. Moulton Barn at Mormon Row – The Most Incredible Sunset
For the second half of Erin & Shawn’s session, we headed to Mormon Row, home to the iconic T.A. Moulton Barn with the Tetons standing tall behind them. The timing couldn’t have been better. As the sun began to set, we had the most beautiful golden hour glow that turned into a dreamy blue hour. And it seriously casted the most perfect light over the mountains.
The Erin changed into a flowy yellow dress, which popped beautifully against the rustic elements, like the barn. As they created memoires in that perfect golden hour light and held each other close, we captured some of the most iconic sunset images I’ve ever taken!!!

One unique touch to this session was that there was a wildfire in the distance. It created a dramatic cloud of smoke in the background. (It was far enough away to be safe.) But it added an unexpected element to the photos—something that Erin & Shawn (and me) will never forget and helped make this session truly one-of-a-kind.
