I don’t get to do guy senior photos very often, it feel like, but I love doing them! Lets be honest I just love doing senior photos. Also, another thing about this senior is he is the third in his family to graduate, and I got to do his two older sister’s senior photos as well. I just love when I have people that come back to me for photos again and again!
Guy senior photos, to some can feel harder to do, because as a general rule guys are not photogenic, but I would disagree! Any photo session can have its challenges, but I’m a strong believer in looking at the positives and making the most of the situation. For me this session was so much fun! Dawson was a great one to photograph. He made my job very easy, by being very smiley. I had to tell him to not smile for some of the photos, lol. But I loved that he came to his session ready to take photos and was happy to be there.
Dawson graduated from Sugar Salem High School with the class of 2023. For his senior photos we went to Nature Park in Rexburg, Idaho. It is such a great location, with lots of options and is perfect for senior photos! Nature park has tree areas, walking trails, bridges, and even a pond. It also has benches and large rocks that are great for photos!
PART ONE
For the first part of Dawson’s senior photos we focused on the bridges and open areas of the park. We also even found some larger rocks for him to sit on. I loved having the variety of areas we could go to for his photos.
PART TWO
The next part of Dawson’s senior session we went into more of the trees and shaded area. It great to add some photos of that area in as well!
